Description & facts
Carandelle comes from a blend of 6 different Sangiovese sub-varieties, selected in some historic Tuscan vineyards and propagated in the "Carandelle" vineyard.
All operations in the vineyard and in the cellar are carried out according to the lunar calendar and the grapes are fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts.

- Intense and bright ruby red color, with aromas of morello cherry, raspberry and black currant, with hints of licorice and spices. Carandelle is a classic Sangiovese, fresh with an elegant tannic structure and an excellent persistence.

- It goes well with traditional Tuscan dishes, from the rich Caciucco to the light and fresh Panzanella. Excellent with game and grilled meat, in particular the "Bistecca alla Fiorentina".
- Vinification
- Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for 7 days, with indigenous yeasts (pied de cuve). Afterwards, malolactic fermentation takes place rigorously in barrels. Maturation of 10 months in French oak barrels.

- Situated on an ancient river bed, they lye on a wild land, between the Tyrrhenian sea and the gentle coastal hills of Tuscany.
