The Bichot family winery is one of the most influential producers in Burgundy. The family settled there in 1350 and in 1831 Bernard Bichot started a wine business in Monthélie, on the Côte de Beaune and his son Hippolyte bought the first vines in Volnay. Son Albert Bichot gave the family business a new impulse at the end of the 19th century and settled permanently in the city of Beaune, where it is still located 5 centuries later. At that time the wines were already famous worldwide.

- The nose develops subtle aromas of dried fruit, almond, apricot as well as hawthorn flower and candied fruit. The palate is round and structured, harmonious and well balanced with a long, refreshing finish.

- Vinification
- The grapes are hand picked and fermented completely in new oak barrels, of which 15 to 35% new oak. Afterwards the wine ages for another 14 to 16 months in the barrels.
