Achtergrondinformatie
This is the classic Héritage plot of now 80-year-old vines in L’Ardillier, around a third of the wine seeing oak (all old). It is more densely packed and tightly wound than L’Homme Mort, showing a viscous power and plenty of glycerol laid over a rigid skeletal structure. The chewy finish is incredibly lengthy and promises a long future.

- It is well defined and focused but clearly needs more time to develop. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity and plenty of citrus fruit matched with subtle stony notes that lead to a detailed and quite persistent finish.

- Vinified and aged in stainless steel tanks (70%) and 228-litre oak barrels (30%), this is an elegant, precise yet racy wine, that expresses the tension and refreshing minerality associated with the great Chablis terroirs.
