Il Pareto, 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, was born in the 1980s as a Supertuscan project and, already starting from the first vintage, it represents strength, power and sensory purity. This wine is part of a new vision of oenology, where we move from the study of native vines to the study of the suitability of the territory. It is not the vine that has adapted to the territory, therefore, but rather the discovery that the territory has the suitability for a limited production of grapes but characterized by a very high sensory complexity, where the typical characteristics of the grapes are maintained, enriching them with nuances and structure, body and elegance. Pareto is the winery’s cru, a great challenge and a winning bet for the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the Chianti area. It is produced only in the best years.

The Sangiovese grape variety is the absolute protagonist of Tenuta di Nozzole, where, in a unique ecosystem of Mediterranean scrubland, expresses all its potential. Used in purity it is aged in small toasted wooden barrels and in large seasoned oak barrels, the latter as a symbol of Tuscan tradition, depending on the wine project. The cultivation of Sangiovese is flanked by two other Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards for the production of Supertuscan Il Pareto. The municipality of Greve in Chianti is located in the Chianti Classico sub-area in the southern part of the province of Florence. Crossed from north to south by the River Greve, one of the three rivers of Chianti, the territory is characterised by soils rich in clay and marls and also by a continental climate. These pedo-climatic features characterise the production of Chianti Classico of Tenuta di Nozzole in the name of power and elegance.
