The story of BOUBY & Fils could be a love story from a movie. After World War I, 19-year-old François Bouby was sent to Champagne region to deactivate left-over landmines. During this dangerous mission, he fell ill and was taken care of by a 23-year-old nurse, Rose. They fell in love and decide to settle in Verneuil to cultivate their first vineyard together.
Winemaker & owner
“The first step in making a top Champagne is the pressing. The grapes are pressed to collect only the first juice, the « Cuvée » in French, which is the most acidic and sugary”.
BOUBY & Fils champagnes are highly aromatic, flavoursome and classy.
