A complex and firmly structured wine thanks to the good climatic features of Vigne a Porrona that lies on the gentle hills on the slopes of Mount Amiata a few kilometres from the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Description & facts
Tenuta Vigne a Porrona, located at an altitude of 350m, extends over 25 hectares where high quality grapes are cultivated. Morellino di Scansano DOCG and Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG are two versions of pure Sangiovese with well-defined characters: the first wine is enhanced by the fruit fragrance, the second one is characterized by structure and complexity of aroma.

- The wine reveals vinous and cherry aromas with delicately ethereal nuances. The taste is balanced with a long, savory and dry finish.

- Vinification
- Fermentation with maceration on the skins for about 12-15 days in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Then the wine ages for 7 months in steel vats and seasoned wooden barrels, followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 3 months.
